Don't Get Caught in 'Doom' This February
Universal Home Entertainment has announced the DVD release of sci-fi actioner Doom, which stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Karl Urban and Rosamund Pike, on February 7th, 2006.
The videogame adaptation will be available in both Fullscreen and Widescreen versions (rated and unrated) with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround. The unrated disc runs an additional 12-minutes compared to the theatrically released R-rated cut.
Supplements will include a first person shooter sequence (unrated editions only); a 'Basic Training' featurette with the cast training with the SAS; a 'Game On' featurette that explores the locations, weapons and creatures (unrated editions only); and a 'Doom Nation' featurette exploring popularity of the Doom franchise, among other things.
