Bill Rancic to Write Children's Book on Success in Business
Thursday, May 12, 2005, 1:05 PM EDT Bill Rancic, winner of the first season of NBC's popular reality program "The Apprentice," will write a children's book titled "Beyond the Lemonade Stand: Starting Small to Make It Big" to be published by Razorbill. Bill Rancic currently is working on the construction of the Trump Tower in Chicago, the project he earned from winning "The Apprentice."
Eloise Flood, Senior Vice President and Publisher of Razorbill, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers Group said "Beyond the Lemonade Stand" is an advice book for children ages 8-12 who are looking to get ahead. It will offer guidelines on how to be successful, ethical, and profitable in business, and will be published September 8, 2005.
The book will contain anecdotes from business leaders, "Apprentice" cast members, and business-savvy kids who all lend guidance to business-minded children already thinking of how to make money. Bill Rancic is donating all of his royalties to children's charities, including Mercy Home for Boys in Chicago, where he volunteers as a tutor for underprivileged children.
