SYNOPSIS
Two best friends engage in bridal warfare when their weddings end up on the same day and neither one will budge.
Liv and Emma, best friends since childhood, are always there for each other, through good times and bad. Even their respective bridal engagements happen within hours. Together they plan their weddings, each to take place at New York's ultimate bridal destination, the Plaza Hotel. But, a clerical error and subsequent clash in wedding dates pits the two brides against each other in a competition that quickly escalates into all-out war.

Get Smart star Anne Hathaway is expected to star in the romantic comedy The Fiance for Warner Bros. Pictures, according to Daily Variety. In the comedy, Hathaway plays a woman who breaks off her engagement to what seems to be a perfect man only to see her parents work overtime to get them back together.

The actress, who will next be seen Rachel Getting Married and Passengers, will star as a commitment-phobic attorney who finds her well-constructed life coming apart at the seams when she rebuffs her ready-for-marriage boyfriend.
