SYNOPSIS
Lincoln Six-Echo (Ewan McGregor) is a resident of a seemingly utopian but contained facility in the mid-21st century. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to the "The Island"—reportedly the last uncontaminated spot on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers that everything about his existence is a lie. He and all of the other inhabitants of the facility are actually human clones whose only purpose is to provide "spare parts" for their original human counterparts. Realizing it is only a matter of time before he is "harvested," Lincoln makes a daring escape with a beautiful fellow resident named Jordan Two-Delta (Scarlett Johansson). Relentlessly pursued by the forces of the sinister institute that once housed them, Lincoln and Jordan engage in a race for their lives to literally meet their makers.

Black Embarks on 'Gulliver's Travels'
Jack Black, who starred in the summer hits Kung Fu Panda (now on DVD!) and Tropic Thunder, will toplone a new version of Gulliver's Travels for 20th Century Fox. According to Daily Variety, the frequent co-stars will join Jason Bateman (Hancock) and Faizon Love (Elf) in the comedy Couples Retreat. The film is based on a script by Favreau and will be directed by Peter Billingsley.

Emily Mortimer (Lars and the Real Girl) and Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children) will play mental patients in Shutter Island, which is being directed by famous director Martin Scorsese. Max von Sydow (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) has also joined the cast of the Paramount Vantage project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Comedian Eddie Murphy, who last was heard in Shrek the Third, married film producer Tracey Edmonds on a private island in French Polynesia on Tuesday, People magazine reported. The sunset ceremony, attended by 25 guests, took place off Bora Bora, a Pacific island about 140 miles northwest of Tahiti, People said, citing the couple's representatives.
