Dunst Gets 'Jealous' at Paramount Vantage

Kirsten Dunst, who just finished a stint in some Hollywoodized clinic for "depression", has signed to star and produce the horror-thriller A Jealous Ghost for Paramount Vantage, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Relatively unknown director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego is attached to helm the pic, which is based on the A.N. Wilson novel.

Collette Joins the Faculty in Mendes Film

Toni Collette, who starred in Little Miss Sunshine and In Her Shoes, will join John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph in an upcoming relationship comedy from "American Beauty" director Sam Mendes, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Krasinski (Leatherheads) and Rudolph ("Saturday Night Live") star as a couple who canvas the country to find the best place to raise their unborn child.

'Hairspray' Returns to LA and NY Theaters

New Line Cinema is re-releasing its hit musical comedy Hairspray for a special one-week return engagement on January 4-10 exclusively at the Laemmle's Sunset-5 theater in Los Angeles and at the Landmark's Sunshine Cinema theater in New York.

'Sunshine' Team Meet 'Abstinence Teacher'

The directing team behind Little Miss Sunshine Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris are in talks to helm the big screen adaptation of an upcoming novel.
