20th Century Fox has created a new very cool online social networking application that allows the world to decide who and what will be saved when the earth "stands still."

Fox Searchlight Pictures has picked up The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, a project (with a very cool title!), which reunites the Milk team of director Gus Van Sant and writer Dustin Lance Black, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Kool-Aid, based on a 1968 Tom Wolfe book, was first put together last year after Gladstein, who had the rights, enlisted Van Sant and Black.

Oscar winner Don Cheadle (Traitor, Ocean's Thirteen) is stepping in to replace Terrence Howard (The Hunting Party) in Iron Man 2, Marvel Studios' sequel to its summer blockbuster, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jon Favreau is returning as director, and Robert Downey Jr. is expected back as billionaire industrialist Stark/Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow also is expected to be back as Stark's assistant, Pepper Potts.

Bryce Dallas Howard, who played Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3, is in negotiations to replace Charlotte Gainsbourg in action-adventure sequel Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Gainsbourg was originally set to play Kate Connor, the wife of human resistance hero Connor. The actress had to bow out because of scheduling conflicts with another film, a French comedy.

The story follows two down-and-out community theater actors who think they've accidentally killed a co-star. In a panic, they go on the lam and hide out in a Renaissance fair.

Drew Barrymore has assembled quite the ensemble cast for her next project. Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long and Ginnifer Goodwin are in negotiations to star in He's Just Not That Into You, which Barrymore will produce and star in.

Tim Blake Nelson has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' The Incredible Hulk, says The Hollywood Reporter. The movie, which Louis Leterrier is directing, sees Bruce Banner/Hulk on the run, trying to avoid capture long enough to cure the condition that turns him into a monster.

New Line Cinema has hired Frank Coraci (Click) to direct "Mild Things", a comedy project set up with producers Peter Principato and Paul Young, according to Daily Variety. The script by Michael Colton and John Aboud centers on a married couple who decide to go on a "baby bender," spending a few months partying like rock stars, before having their first child.
