SYNOPSIS

Civil War vet John Carter is transplanted to Mars, where he discovers a lush, wildly diverse planet...

A Civil War veteran retreats into a cave to avoid capture by Apache Indians. But this cave actually transports him via time portal to the planet of Barsoom and is taken prisoner by 12-foot-tall green men.
