SYNOPSIS

Set in small-town America in 1962, the sexy thriller centres on steamy events that occur when a mother, her daughter and the mother's best friend all become involved with a charming drifter who wanders onto the island.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

The film, based on the short story Aurora Island by Marianne Gingher, is scheduled to shoot in Ireland this fall.

    Affleck Has Eyes on 'Town' for Warner

The Warner Bros. project involves a high-tension love triangle between a female bank manager, a longtime thief who stole more than her heart and an equally smitten FBI agent trying to bust the crook and his gang before they can pull another big job.

    Crowe Reunits with Scott on Robin Hood Story

    Russell Crowe is to work once again with "Gladiator" director Ridley Scott on the reworking of the Robin Hood story, Nottingham. The film re-imagines the Sheriff of Nottingham (Crowe) as the hero who is caught in a love triangle with Robin Hood and Maid Marion.
