Plot Summary:

Based on the Marvel Comics character, Captain America centers on a U.S. soldier who becomes a superhero after being injected with a secret government serum.

Additional Notes:

Jon Favreau was originally chosen by Marvel Studios to direct this film, but he chose to direct Iron Man (2008). Oddly enough, Nick Cassavetes, who was eventually hired to direct this film, had been set as a director for Iron Man (2008) in December 2004.
