Cage Stars in Sci-Fi Thriller 'Knowing'

Nicolas Cage, who of course headlines the box office champ National Treasure: Book of Secrets, is set to star in Knowing, a sci-fi thriller to be directed by Alex Proyas (I, Robot), Daily Variety reported. The movie begins production March 17 in Melbourne, Australia.

Penn Film to Debut in Alaska

The new Sean Penn-directed film, Into the Wild, will have its premiere in Alaska. Two screenings are planned for the film, the true story of a 24-year-old Virginia man who hitchhiked to Alaska in 1992 and eventually died in an abandoned bus. The film's debut is scheduled for Sept. 3 and will be released across the U.S. on Sept. 21.

Limp Bizkit's Durst to Helm 'Comeback' Story

Limp Bizkit rocker Fred Durst, who supposedly dabbles in directing movies like recent drama The Education of Charlie Banks, is in negotiations to direct rapper Ice Cube ("Are We Done Yet?") in an inspirational sports drama based on a true story, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Aniston in Talks to Join Barrymore's Ensemble Cast

Jennifer Aniston, who last starred in the The Break-Up with now-ex boyfriend Vince Vaughn, is in final talks to star in He's Just Not That Into You, an ensemble comedy set to start shooting next month in Los Angeles. The former "Friends" star will play a woman in a long-term relationship with a boyfriend who will not commit to marriage.
