SYNOPSIS
A death row inmate helps reform a group of juvenile delinquents in a Scared Straight program when a large-scale riot breaks out.
A governor's teenage son is sent to prison as part of Scared Straight, a crime-prevention program that imprisons delinquent teens for a short period in the hopes of deterring them from a life of crime. While the teenager is there, a riot breaks out and the prisoners take him hostage. He teams up with other street kids and a con to stop the riot.

Stiller Might Helm DreamWorks' 'Chicago'
Actor/writer/director Ben Stiller has held early talks to helm The Trial of the Chicago 7, a politcal drama that would mark a departure from his comedic efforts such as Tropic Thunder and "Zoolander." The DreamWorks project revolves around the riots at the Democratic National Convention in 1968 in Chicago, and is a high priority for the newly configured studio, which has been "freed" from Paramount Pictures and now has a distribution deal with Universal Pictures.

Emily Mortimer (Lars and the Real Girl) and Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children) will play mental patients in Shutter Island, which is being directed by famous director Martin Scorsese. Ben Kingsley, whose recent credits include Lucky Number Slevin, You Kill Me and Bloodrayne, will be enjoying the island life, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He has joined Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo (Zodiac) in Martin Scorsese's drama Shutter Island, which is set to begin shooting in March.

Billy Bob Thornton, who last starred in Mr. Woodcock, has joined Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan in the cast of the thriller Eagle Eye for DreamWorks Pictures. The story revolves around a young man (LaBeouf) and a single mother (Monaghan) who are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out an assassination.
