Plot Summary: | | |
20th Century Fox is saying little about the film's story line. All that is being revealed is that it is a "supernatural thriller" and that the movie will take the complicated relationship between FBI agents Fox Mulder (Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Anderson) in unexpected directions as Mulder continues on his quest for the truth and Scully remains inextricably tied to her partner's pursuits.

Additional Notes: | | |
In recent weeks, former star David Duchovny has said the second film is moving forward and that an announcement may come soon. His co-star, Gillian Anderson, has expressed interest in returning to her role as FBI agent Dana Scully, alongside Duchovny's Mulder (05/13/07). Production will start December 10th on the sequel (11/01/07). Although character details are being closely guarded, it is believed that Xzibit and Peet will be playing FBI Agents alongside David Duchovny's Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Scully (12/06/07). |
