Cho and Pegg Board 'Star Trek' Movie
John Cho, who is best known for stoner comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, has been cast as Sulu in the new Star Trek movie, playing a role popularized by George Takei. In addition, Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead) has boarded the Paramount project as Scotty, the ship's Scottish chief engineer.

Movies on MTV talked to Rosario Dawson, who says that her next project will be Eagle Eye, the thriller from Disturbia director D.J. Caruso and star Shia LaBeouf. With this new project, Dawson doesn't think she'll be part of Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno, however, even though Smith wrote the part of Miri for his Clerks II star.
08-08-07'Tsotsi' Director to Helm 'Wolverine' Movie
Director Gavin Hood has signed on to helm 20th Century Fox's Wolverine, the "X-Men" spinoff, which was written by David Benioff. Hugh Jackman will star. The film, which begins production in November for a 2008 release, will be produced by Lauren Shuler-Donner, Jackman and his Seed Productions partner John Palermo.<
