Plot Summary:

Set in L.A. right after the 1965 Watts riots, white cops draft a janitor & unlicensed private eye to crack the case of a murdered black woman when the suspect turns out to be a white man she sheltered. A killer named Mouse helps the janitor/private eye with the investigation.
