SYNOPSIS
The story begins when a thirtysomething couple, desperate to have a baby against all odds, engage a young woman to bear their child. When the man's boss falls in love with the surrogate and decides to become a father himself, chaos ensues, thrusting the couple's marriage to the brink of ruin.

Black Embarks on 'Gulliver's Travels'
Jack Black, who starred in the summer hits Kung Fu Panda (now on DVD!) and Tropic Thunder, will toplone a new version of Gulliver's Travels for 20th Century Fox. The latest take on the Jonathan Swift classic will be directed by Rob Letterman from a script adapted by Joe Stillman, with a rewrite by Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall).

Oscar winner Don Cheadle (Traitor, Ocean's Thirteen) is stepping in to replace Terrence Howard (The Hunting Party) in Iron Man 2, Marvel Studios' sequel to its summer blockbuster, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jon Favreau is returning as director, and Robert Downey Jr. is expected back as billionaire industrialist Stark/Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow also is expected to be back as Stark's assistant, Pepper Potts.
10-14-08Huge Fire Burns at Universal Studios Backlot
A back lot at Universal Studios in Universal City, Calif. is the scene of a three-alarm fire. Los Angeles fire Capt. Frank Reynoso said the blaze was reported just before dawn on Sunday. Some media reports say the fire started at 4:44 a.m. local time. Two mock New York and New England streets used for movie making and tourist displays were "a total loss," he said.
