SYNOPSIS
God and the Devil who, tired of eternally fighting for human souls, decide to settle things once and for all by coming down to Earth as mortal men and competing for the love of one woman that they mutually choose. Without using any of their powers and relying only on human instinct and emotion, whoever gets the woman to say "I love you" wins all the souls of humanity.

Gough and Millar to Pen 'Robotech'
Screenwriters Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who both penned Spider-Man 2 and The Mummy: Tomb of Dragon Emperor, have been drafted to write Robotech, Warner Bros. Pictures' adaptation of the anime classic, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Akiva Goldsman and Chuck Roven are producing with Tobey Maguire and Drew Crevello.

11-14-08Pegg and Frost Meet 'Paul'
Superbad helmer Greg Mottola will direct the extraterrestrial comedy Paul for Working Title and Universal Pictures, which will star Shaun of the Dead actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Daily Variety reported. Mottola, who recently wrapped the upcoming comedy Adventureland, will begin shooting Paul in mid-April in New Mexico.

Jack Black, who starred in the summer hits Kung Fu Panda (now on DVD!) and Tropic Thunder, will toplone a new version of Gulliver's Travels for 20th Century Fox. The latest take on the Jonathan Swift classic will be directed by Rob Letterman from a script adapted by Joe Stillman, with a rewrite by Nicholas Stoller (Forgetting Sarah Marshall).
