SYNOPSIS
The story is about Ronnie Reno (Klein), a form TV action star in need of a comeback. After a failed audition, he ends up snowbound in a remote town in Nevada overrun with meth dealers including Merle (Busey) and their henchman (Durst). After Reno finds the body of a dead FBI agent, he reunites with his former co-stars including Devon (Beach) in order to save the town and himself.

Pegg and Frost Meet 'Paul'
Superbad helmer Greg Mottola will direct the extraterrestrial comedy Paul for Working Title and Universal Pictures, which will star Shaun of the Dead actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, Daily Variety reported. Mottola, who recently wrapped the upcoming comedy Adventureland, will begin shooting Paul in mid-April in New Mexico.

Emily Mortimer (Lars and the Real Girl) and Jackie Earle Haley (Little Children) will play mental patients in Shutter Island, which is being directed by famous director Martin Scorsese. Max von Sydow (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) has also joined the cast of the Paramount Vantage project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Heath Ledger, who plays the Joker in the upcoming The Dark Knight, was found dead Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence in a possible drug-related death, police said. He was 28. The Australian-born actor was an Oscar nominee for his role in Brokeback Mountain and has numerous other screen credits, including The Brothers Grimm, Casanova, Lords of Dogtown and Ned Kelly.

Christian Bale (forthcoming The Dark Knight) is in talks to join Johnny Depp in Public Enemies, a Depression-era crime drama from Michael Mann (Collateral, Miami Vice). An adaptation of Bryan Burrough's book "Public Enemies: America's Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-43", the Universal Pictures' project follows the government's attempt to stop the criminals John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd.
