Howard Replacing Gainsbourg in 'Terminator'

Bryce Dallas Howard, who played Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3, is in negotiations to replace Charlotte Gainsbourg in action-adventure sequel Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Gainsbourg was originally set to play Kate Connor, the wife of human resistance hero Connor. The actress had to bow out because of scheduling conflicts with another film, a French comedy.

Fanning Sisters Meet New Line's 'Keeper'

Ah... the Fanning sisters are teaming up together again in a new movie. Dakota (Charlotte's Web) and her younger sister Elle Fanning (Because of Winn-Dixie) will star opposite Cameron Diaz in My Sister's Keeper for New Line Cinema. Nick Cassavetes (The Notebook) is directing.

Timberlake Gets to Know Myer's 'Love Guru'

Justin Timberlake, who voiced a character in Shrek the Third, is the latest star to join the cast of the new Mike Myers' comedy The Love Guru. Timberlake will play Jacques Grande, a professional hockey player, alongside the previously announced Jessica Alba, Romany Malco and Verne Troyer.

'Die Hard' Director to Shoot 'Escape' Remake

Director Len Wiseman, who last helmed Bruce Willis' Live Free or Die Hard, is in negotiations to shoot the remake of Escape From New York for New Line Cinema. 300 star Gerard Butler will topline as anti-hero Snake Plissken, a role played by Kurt Russell in John Carpenter's 1981 film.
