Storyline
In Stalinist Russia, an officer in the secret police is framed by a colleague for treason. On the run with his emotionally estranged wife, he stumbles upon a series of child killings and launches his own rogue investigation, even though it means risking his own capture.
Additional Notes:
Tom Hardy would play the Soviet officer, while Noomi Rapace would play his wife, who pretends to be a doting partner but is concealing many thoughts and feelings. Gary Oldman will play the head of police who is acting on those suspicions.
Ridley Scott was initially planning to direct the film. Swedish filmmaker Daniel Espinosa (Safe House) will now direct.
