Andrews Joins Fox's 'Tooth Fairy'
The wonderful Julie Andrews (most recently voice talent on Enchanted) will join Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ashley Judd in Fox's family fantasy comedy Tooth Fairy, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Also on board are "Extras" star Stephen Merchant, who also co-created "The Office", and pro skateboarder Ryan Sheckler (he has a MTV show too!). Filming will begin in October in Vancouver, Canada, with Michael Lembeck (The Santa Clause 2) directing.
09-13-08Kirkpatrick Helms Murphy's 'NowhereLand'
Paramount has tapped Karey Kirkpatrick (Over the Hedge) to direct Eddie Murphy's fantasy comedy NowhereLand, which he plans to begin shooting Sept. 10th. Murphy portrays a successful financial executive who finds his career going down the drain and discovers the answers to his problems within his daughter's imaginary world.
