SYNOPSIS

Tony Stark is a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon.     Visual effects wizard Scott Charles Stewart, who co-founded the effects house The Orphanage, has signed to direct Priest, a horror Western adapted from a TokyoPop comic book, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story is set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampire and follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.

    'Iron Man 2' Trio to Team Again for 'Avengers'

    The cast and crew for Marvel Studios' 2011 film The Avengers is coming together quite nicely. Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr. and Don Cheadle, whose deal to replace Terrence Howard in the Iron Man movies has been finalized, have signed for the actioner, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

    Cheadle Replaces Howard in 'Iron Man 2'

    Oscar winner Don Cheadle (Traitor, Ocean's Thirteen) is stepping in to replace Terrence Howard (The Hunting Party) in Iron Man 2, Marvel Studios' sequel to its summer blockbuster, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Jon Favreau is returning as director, and Robert Downey Jr. is expected back as billionaire industrialist Stark/Iron Man. Gwyneth Paltrow also is expected to be back as Stark's assistant, Pepper Potts.

    Vaughn and Favreau Reunite at 'Retreat'

    "Swingers" and "Made" co-stars Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau getting back together again in Universal's Couples Retreat. According to Daily Variety, the frequent co-stars will join Jason Bateman (Hancock) and Faizon Love (Elf) in the comedy Couples Retreat. The film is based on a script by Favreau and will be directed by Peter Billingsley.
