Pakistan's Skies Unlimited Films reportedly plans to make a big screen biopic about Benazir Bhutto, the Pakistani leader assassinated last week.
The movie would likely be made in collaboration with Indian filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, The Hollywood Reporter said Wednesday.
The film is in pre-production and Pakistani writer Aqeel Ahmad Ruby is writing the screenplay, the trade paper reported.
The Daily Times quoted producer Aneela Khan as saying the film's director "will soon be announced," while the actress who will portray Bhutto hasn't been chosen.
"It could be someone famous or a completely new face. There are possibilities that some of the scenes would be shot in India but we are not sure," Khan said.
"The basic motive behind this announcement is just to dedicate this film to Benazir Bhutto. The film is going to be released internationally and we don't want to create any controversy with this film."
