DreamWorks Animation is moving forward with a 3-D Kung Fu Panda sequel, titled Pandamonium and slotted for release on June 3, 2011, Daily Variety reported.
Jack Black and Angelina Jolie have signed on to reprise their voice roles in the movie, which will be helmed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson, head of story on Kung Fu Panda.
DreamWorks Animation also plans on releasing the film in IMAX theaters worldwide. Like all DreamWorks Animation feature films beginning in 2009, Pandamonium will be produced with stereoscopic 3-D technology. Paramount Pictures will distribute the pic.
The sequel centers on Po, the world's biggest kung fu fan, as he continues his journey as the chosen one who fulfills an ancient prophecy while mastering the art of kung fu.
Kung Fu Panda will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 9th, as well as an original companion story, "Secrets of the Furious Five".
